09/08/2026. So, I’m back on WordPress.
I still suspect that somewhere in their offices there is an entire department of designers devoted to making simple things unnecessarily difficult, assisted by another department whose job is to make sure nothing quite works the way you expect.
But I don’t have time to search for something better.
Years ago, I built websites myself. Now, apparently, I’ve reached that curious stage of life when I could do it again, but can no longer think of a single good reason why I should.
There’s an old joke about hedgehogs who cried, suffered, pricked themselves terribly… and kept eating the cactus.
So here I am.
The old page is back. It’s ugly. It works.
